What is WPS?

This eliminates the need for a password and ignores any password changes that may have occurred.

The app includes more than 30 PIN algorithms and 50,000 known PINs to detect potential WPS risks. However, if your WPS-enabled Wi-Fi can be connected without manual input, it is suggested that you change your key to a more complex one or disable the WPS feature.

How to use:

• Upon opening the app, you will see four colors in the Wi-Fi list:
• • Green: Indicates that the Wi-Fi network has been attacked by your device.
  • Red: Suggests that the Wi-Fi network may have a password vulnerability and it is recommended to change the password immediately.
  • Yellow: Suggests that the Wi-Fi network may have a WPS vulnerability and it is recommended to turn off WPS.
  • Black: WiFi WPS Tester deems the Wi-Fi network as safe.
• You can test the Wi-Fi networks by following these steps:
• 1. Click on a Wi-Fi network and enter its detail page.
  2. In the detail page, you can click on the "TRY ALL" button to attempt all untested PINs and passwords. Please be patient, as this process may take a few minutes.
  3. You may also choose to click on any individual item in the detail page. This will prompt WiFi WPS Tester to only test that particular item and provide a quick result.
  4. If you have a custom PIN, you can test it by clicking the plus sign.
  5. If the connection attempt fails, an error icon will appear next to the item. Click on the icon to see the detailed reason for the failure.
